Today I had a great meeting with Michael Kalina (@mkalina on twitter) who is specialized in building high-quality WordPress themes. He gave me quite useful feedback for my plugin which I decided to implement with v2.9.1.
One personal request: as WordPress added a new review feature for plugins hosted on wordpress.org, I kindly invite you to leave your opinion about my plugin at http://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/leaflet-maps-marker.
Here´s what´s new in detail in v2.9.1:
improved backend usability
The form fields for marker and layer shortcode now automatically focus if you select them:
This makes it easier to copy the shortcode and paste it into a post or page.
refreshed backend design
I minimized the admin header and button now turn dark blue when you are on the selected page:
The former header moved into the new footer on each page.
I also did some finetuning on tables (no more header with columns “Parameter” and “Value”, maximized their widths etc) and headings.
