This release includes an update of the GPX elevation chart engine as highlight and other smaller optimizations, bugfixes as well as updated translations (many thanks to our 100+ registered translators!).
Unfortunately we also had to remove the layar augmented-reality API with v4.5, as layar seems to have shutdown their service – for more details about this release please see below.
An updated to the latest version is – as always – highly recommended.
The GPX chart now also supports grid and axes and is fully responsive:

Additionally we also added the possibility to display the GPX chart aside from the map in a <div> element. A tutorial how this can be achieved can be found here.
With v4.5 you can now configure the layers, filters and minimap controls to be minimized on mobiles only. In order to see these settings, you need to toggle the “show advanced setting” option:

The recommended way to update is to use the WordPress update process: login with an user who has admin privileges, navigate to Dashboard / Updates, select plugins to update and press the button “Update Plugins”. The pro plugin checks every 24 hours if a new version is available. You can also manually trigger the update check by going to Plugins and clicking on the link “Check for updates” next to “Maps Marker Pro”.
If there is an update available, please start the update by clicking the link “update now”.
