We are happy to announce the availability of Maps Marker Pro v4.23. This release includes an update to Leaflet.js, new layers and translations as well as lots of other optimizations and bugfixes. For details and other highlights about this release please see below.
An updated to the latest version is – as always – highly recommended. If you access to updates and support has expired, please click here for more information on how to optionally renew your access. Although your license key never expires, unless you renew your access to updates and support, you will not be able to get plugin updates including new features, optimizations, bug and security fixes, translations updates as well as access to our helpdesk with dedicated 1:1 support. Therefore we always recommend updating to the latest version of Maps Marker Pro.
Leaflet.js – the engine of Maps Marker Pro – has been updated from v1.8.0 to v1.9.2. For a full list of changes please see the related changelog.
With v4.23 you can now also select CyclOSM as basemap, which is a bicycle-oriented map built on top of OpenStreetMap data. It aims at providing a beautfil and practical map for cyclists, no matter thier cycling habits or abilities.
In order to use CyclOSM for your maps, just select “CyclOSM” from the Basemaps dropdown at Maps / tab “Layers”:
We also added support for Lima Lab tiles with v4.23. For more details please see the related tutorial on how to sign-up for an API key.
The number of available translations for Maps Maker Pro increased to 49 thanks to the following new translators:
For more details on translations and how to contribute (in exchange for a free license key), please checkout https://translate.mapsmarker.com
Maps Marker Pro already offers the feature to easily show all markers on a map by enabling the related option “Show all available markers” at Maps / tab “Filters”:
With v4.23 we now added an indicator for the “List all maps” page to make it easier to identify maps with that option enabled:
Thanks to our translators this release also includes updated translations, see full changelog for details.
