We just released Maps Marker Pro v4.17 with a newly added measure control as one major highlight.
For details and other highlights about this release please see below. An updated to the latest version is – as always – highly recommended. If you access to updates and support has expired, please click here for more information on how to optionally renew your access.
With v4.17 it is now possible to show a measure button which allows you to easily measure the distance between several points. Example:
The measure control can be added on the page “add/edit maps”, tab “controls”, with additional options available if “Show advanced settings” is enabled:
On “add/edit map” pages, tab “list” you will find a new option “Show coordinates”:
Enabling this setting will show the coordinates of the markers in the list of markers. Example:
At Settings / Misc / “WordPress integration” you will find the new option “Redirect to external GPX files”:
Enabling this setting redirects to external GPX files rather than processing them like internal GPX files when clicking on the download button. Enabling this will save server traffic, but can cause external GPX files to be opened in the browser instead of being downloaded.
Thanks to 210+ translators this release also includes some update translations, see full changelog for details.
